Aloha, and welcome to our site. We started this site, Waikele Watershed, on the basis of educating our community on the importance of the Waikele Watershed.

The Enviornmental Class went to Waikakalaua Stream to collect data to monitor how the stream's health is inclining or declining over time.  

The Waikakalaua Stream connects to the Waikele Watershed.  The watersheds IMPACT everyone. It is IMPORTANT to keep it healthy

• it supports Hawaii’s ecosystems, which provides clean air and water and other ecosystem services to survive.

• provides many benefits of natural products such as the medicine and food it provides.
